Trail of Tears
The annual Trail of Tears Motorcycle Ride takes place on one of the trails used during the 1838 removal of Native Americans from their homelands in the Southeast to Oklahoma. Each year, the ride starts in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and ends in Waterloo, Alabama, just west of where we live. The Trail of Tears Ride has over 150,000 riders, making it the largest organized motorcycle ride in the world.

Since Hudson is a big fan of planes, trains, and all sorts of automobiles,
we knew he would love watching the huge clan of motorcyclists breeze through our city!

Gosh, I haven't stopped by your blog in a while and am so happy to have finally gotten a chance to catch up! First thing's first-- your new 'do is gorgeous! I guess you've had it for a while, but the shorter style looks great on you.

Also, Hudson has grown up so much over the summer. Crazy how the time flies!! Glad to hear you and your family are having such a great time this season :)

I don't know what it is about this little bike ride through The Shoals but I love it. It was fun to go wave and throw up a couple of piece signs here and there. Next year we will go back down to the main event.
