L'artiste.

Hudson really loves to draw on the sidewalk with chalk.

One warm afternoon, after Will traced the outline of Hudson's little body on the cool concrete of the driveway, Hudson insisted we all lie down for a chalk outline of our own. We ended up with a few fabulous chalk likenesses, all lined up in a row. After I drew a face and clothes on "chalk Hudson", he decided that he would draw the faces on the rest of the family.

The result?
With his abstract style of drawing faces,
I think we may have a mini-Picasso on our hands.

Ashley, you posted a lot the last few days. First of all, the bananas? That is so peculiar, I've never heard of that. I wonder if the potassium or magnesium is doing something adverse? I'm guessing you've researched it or spoken to your primary doctor?

Second of all, do you remember that I have a BS in Political Science too? Fun. I am voting for Romney, not just because he's Mormon like me. If he's elected I just hope he can hold his composure work hard with us the American people to get back some things we are losing and be the best example or all of us Mormons are going to hear about it... :) Is that too much to ask? It's disheartening to see the lack of real intelligence and heart in politics altogether. If you compare debates today, to say the debates from FDR's time it's a stark difference, in intellect, behavior and overall knowledge. I wonder where we're going especially when there is so much money involved in getting elected. Okay....

Hudson is a doll as always. You are as usual wonderful at capturing the pictures you intend. Love,

Yay for stellar chalk art! I love that you guys traced your sweet family, and that Hudson drew some of the faces! (I remember learning child development classes the different stages of children when they draw people and faces...that's awesome!) Keep drawing little man! Yard you too Ashley, looks like the artistic nack runs in the family. :)
