All We Are.

What if all we are
is the combination
of what we have seen
and all our hands
have ever closed upon?
We are the ticket stubs
and lucky coins,
the falling stars
and the sound
a voice makes
as its song comes
to a haunting close
in a crowded hall.
The weathered rocks
in dark pockets and
the torn fragments
of our favorite books.
We are the pieces
of all we have ever found
glued tight inside us,
shining out.

I am a sucker for pictures with window reflections, so I love those two shots the most!

That is a beautiful poem Swoop. Where do you come up with all these great things?

That one picture of Hudson playing with the family at the restaurant is cute. It was so fun watching him interact with them. Then watching his little face light up when he saw the fireworks. Great Pictures!

That is beautiful. I feel like I'm going to read and re-read that a few (hundred) times and really think about the words you've shared. (:

This looks like a lovely way to spend an evening! And that poem is beautiful!

I must say, your picture of the fireworks is so awesome! I love how you can see the bright and vivid colors of the ones lighting the sky yet you also see the smoke from ones previously set off. So neat!

Also, I know I already told you but I'm super excited I won the giveaway!!

oh that is beautiful indeed. :) I especially liked the "weather rocks in dark pockets" part...gets me excited for when Brooks figures out he has pockets and I love imagining the fun (and maybe not so fun sometimes;) treasures he'll bring home from our little outings. :)

and that delicate, green gemstone necklace you're wearing, love love love it.
