I think too much too an sometimes my husband just stops me and says... "thinking this much only hurts you". Then I take a deep breath and stop it! Love the hair!
That quote stands all too true. Over thinking/reading too much into something can seriously drive one to madness. I've experienced it. Just breathe darling.
Ash! knowing how artistic and creative you are, in your photography and writing and fashion...I can imagine your mind is going a mile a minute :) and with your move (hope the new house is wonderful!) I'm sure you've had lots to think about with unpacking and setting up, decorating, and adjusting to the neighborhood. hugs to you friend! hope you & Hudson and Will are doing great :)
and your hair...LOVE it :) i'm going to follow your lead and put my hair up in braids for my cousins wedding this friday! :)
Swoop, I love to watch you plan things. You enjoy that so much. Once you have all your planing done it starts. Wondering how its going to turn out or what someone is going to think about it. I love you Swoop and I am always amazed at how well all of your ideas and planing seem to turn out.
My husband always said "you think so much it scares me". Then he got to know me better and knew that I wasn´t thinking about our relationship :) Too much thinking can make you crazy and I am trying to be more "who cares" about it all.
Ok.. so...I think I don't "get" quotes. I have to reread them like 15 times until they finally click.. Not sure why! Is it saying that you can easily psyche yourself out of something good and happy just by overly thinking about it...Like.. It comes naturally to think negatively? Arrgghh.. I just don't know.. I'm not a Lit major..Booo.. HALP!

Sometimes I wish there was a pause button on my brain. Where I could hit it when I need to live in the moment, not in the future.
tell me about it.
the flaw of being human.

So so true. I needed this quote today.
Been there done that! We're only human.
Good point- I should try to focus on the positive more. After all, these are the techniques I teach to kids all day- why can't I do it for myself?
