Inside all of us is a wild thing.

This weekend was the kind that seemed to last for 2 weeks.
It's been gloomy and rainy for so long that I can't remember what the sun looks like.
Hudson has had runny nose, which also, unfortunately, comes along with a mild case of crankiness.
And Will & I find ourselves combatting my least favorite component of winter-time: cabin fever.

It's only mid-January and I'm yearning for Spring.
Or at least a little bit of sunshine.

But, out of this grizzly, icky weekend...there were some good things, too:
--that time the rain let up enough that we were able to run outside and "play football" with Hudson.
--that time I slid through the house on Hudson's plasma car, as he laughed and pushed me along.
--that time Will and I stayed up late watching funny movies.
--that time we ate delicious breakfast for dinner. (my favorite)
--that time I overheard Hudson "reading" a favorite book in his room.
You can listen, too:

Always a bright side, folks.
Always.

And here's one more happy....someone's getting a new dress.

We had rain here this weekend for the first time in months. It was definitely welcome since everything has been so dry! Funny how the winter blues differ depending on what part of the country you live in!

I am more than ready for spring... I hate winter.

We have really had a mild winter this year, but I still don't like it. Heading to Las Vegas soon just to get away for awhile.

Yes we had some cabin fever but all in all it was a fun weekend. Lots of cars driving through the house with a giant cat playing hide and go seek. Oh and who could forget the forts. Then after all the playing is done wine down to a good comedy.

LOVE YOU!!!

Love your photos! At least you just got rain, it snowed last night here. I would give anything for a rainy day right about now. And, just when I thought Hudson couldn't get any cuter, he did.

Your pictures are FABULOUS! Seriously, I love them so very much. And your outfit - also fabulous.
I hear ya on the needing sunshine thing. I feel like I haven't seen the sun in years, when really it's only been months. But... I can't wait for springtime, when I get to leave my heavy coat at home and enjoy the warm sunshine!
