Memories and Magic

Christmas Eve at my parents' house never disappoints...
from the heaping plates full of delicious home-cooked food,
to the love & laughs & family fun.

We had such a wonderful time together, just enjoying each other and watching as Hudson played with each of his wonderful presents. We had tea parties at his precious new table, played dinosaurs, threw play-doh "footballs", had a mini- round of golf, and watched as Hudson did some major dancing in the foyer.

Throughout the night, Will kept us updated on Santa's whereabouts, thanks to the NORAD Santa Tracker. We packed up all of the presents and left as the big guy was filling stockings in Brazil, and made it home just as he landed in Knoxville, Tennessee, only a few hours to our northwest. Whew! As quickly as the sleigh moves, looks like we got Hudson tucked into bed just in time for Mr. Claus to arrive.

Our sweet boy had a blast, and we did too.....
There's just something soo magical about Christmas Eve.
Hope yours was full of magic, too!

It is always fun on Christmas Eve at your parents house. Hudson had been asking all week long when he could get back over to open up his gifts. The food was so good I ate way to much. Then there was presents all over the place and then I had to talk everyone into watching The Christmas Story.

FUN TIME FOR ALL! LOVE YOU!!!

Looks like you all had a wonderful time! I would imagine that once you have children most of Christmas is about seeing the joy on their faces as opposed to thinking about even what to ask for! I hope you also received a nice gift or two from santa that was on your list! I look forward to hearing about it!

What a fun Christmas Eve with your parents! We always spend Christmas Eve at my parent's house, too. Except there it's like an open house type thing with all my mom's side of the family coming over and just chatting. It's nice!

Your Mom looks so young. You know someone once told me that when you choose a girl to marry, Look at her Mom first because that will be what she looks like in years to come. LOL.... Sometimes that holds true.

Another great Christmas Eve!! We had so much fun even though we didn't get to play our annual game this year. Hudson you have definitely put the magic in our Christmas. We enjoyed watching you open your gifts and entertain us with your dancing. You, Mama and Daddy bring us so much joy. We love you.
