Dickens Christmas, Y'all.

Our neighboring town of Tuscumbia transformed into a Victorian Village for one December weekend this year. There were holiday themed arts and crafts, costumed characters from classic Dickens' literature, and yummy treats at every corner.

First, we heard a lovely reading of A Christmas Carol while sipping on hot lattes from the warmth of ColdWater Books. Then, we made our way down the street to Yummies Bakery, where we had our fill of sweet treats. And before we strolled down to Spring Park to enjoy the Christmas lights, we took Hudson on his very first carriage ride down Main Street. He loves "horseys". We even ran into Santa! Hudson was sure to let him know (again) that he wants a rocketship for Christmas....doesn't hurt to remind the big guy, I guess.

Christmas spirit was running rampant through the downtown streets....you'll find no "Bah Humbugs!" here. Now, pass the figgy pudding.

Question: Why is your family so cute?!?! Also may I be adopted into your family so that by default, I will be equally as cute and I will also get to go on fun expeditions.

I love going to things where people are dressed up. Everyone looks brilliant!! Hudson almost looks like a character in his coat.

But seriously.. I love the Dickens themed event! But what I love even more is that they added that good ol' Southern charm. "Ya'll" So wonderful!

Your coat is to die for! Also, could your family get any cuter? Probably not. I need to get out and do some fun activities because I feel like a lazy loser compared to all the fun things you do!

This was a fun little Christmas event that Tuscumbia put on. I hope it keeps growing and gets bigger each year. I might just dress the part next year. It was great that as soon as I put Hudson down. His eye caught Jolly Ole Saint Nick and took off. I am about 100% sure that he knows that guy. This was a fun day all around!

Merry Christmas Y'all and LOVE YOU!!!
