Will you forgive me...

....if I share ONE more Halloween post?
I promise it shall be my last.
(until next October, mmmmkay?)

This was Hudson's first experience with "Trick-or-Treating" and there are a few things
that I hope I never forget:

-the way his little voice said "trick or treat" every time, whether it was when we walked up to
a trunk at our church's Trunk-or-Treat extravaganza
or at a friend's front door on All Hallow's Eve.
(and the way he always remembered to say "thank you")

-when he put on his spider costume for the first time, and I asked him what he was, he excitedly replied: "a bumblebee!!"

-the way he always picked out suckers from the treat bowls, opened them, licked them for about 10 minutes, then passed them on to Daddy to finish.

-when we stopped by his buddy Easton's house and he popped about 3 balloons and helped himself to the adult's Halloween sweets from the table.

-the way he loved hanging out by the front door with his Uncle Sam, watching for other little goblins.

-when we stopped by our family and friends' homes on Halloween Night, he would always let himself inside and he would make his way to the couch to sit down. We joked that he must think Halloween means go around town and visit with everyone...while receiving candy.

-the way his little lip poked out when he caught a glimpse of our friend Brad in his spooky clown mask.

-when he woke up the next morning and I could hear him from his bed saying "Halloweeeeeen. Halloweeeeeeen." in a sad voice. I think he was sad it was over.

I to hope I never forget these sweet little moments. This makes me wonder why we don't think like him more often. Why not take a night and just ride around and visit family and friends. Sit on there couch and eat candy. Sometimes I think we could learn a thing or two from kids. Anyway as sad as I am to see this Halloween come and go I am only going to look forward to next year. Hudson was wanting to get on that huge bounce slide so bad with all the older kids.

Great pictures with Hudson and clan.

LOVE YOU!!!

I love those little sweet memories. I think my favorite has to be that he would go inside and sit on the couches of your family and friends. Too cute!

While handing out candy we had quite a few little ones (who we didn't know!) come right in the front door and start walking around. lol They were curious!

Also, you and Will should totally check out your local frisbee golf course. It's so fun! And you can start out with a normal frisbee to see if you like it and then if you do buy some actual frisbee golf discs!

when you're capturing images as clear and color-filled as these there is no apology necessary lades! what a rad time you all had, it must have been the biggest floater of your momma soul to see Hudson through his 1st t&t night. even if there was a slight miscalculation on what exactly he was (how adorable is that?) he most assuredly stole everyone's heart. xoox ♥
