Pocketful of Sunshine.

It was cold on our trip to the coast.
But there was that one tiny sliver of a day....
an early morning when the sun shone down
just for us.

And you can bet your bottom dollar
we got our swimsuits on,
and ran through the sand
to find the perfect spot
to salute that glorious sunshine.

These are the moments that make up a beautiful life.

{seeing Hudson as he:
watches the dolphins jump,
searches for the perfect seashell,
sneaks sips of my Coke,
meets new buddies,
and dips his toes in the ice cold water}

These moments are unexpected silver linings.
They are smallest things that mean the most.

If the water had only been a wee bit warmer. We built sandcastles. We had some new friends help us build our masterpiece. We jumped to look when your mama yelled dolphins dolphins and made us think that a great White had just jumped out from the water. We found mama a beautiful seashell ring. Most of all we just had fun being together.

LOVE YOU!!!

So now I am singing that song, all "Easy A" style. If you haven't seen that movie that will make absolutely no sense.

oh my gosh, i think this is the 1st time i've noticed Hudson is growing up! he is looking so "big boy" now, how does this happen? one minute he's a baby boy and the next he's a little man!

absolutely marvelous location shots, you need to take your photography skills to the next level and start doing it professionally Ash. my eyes are a big burst of bright looking at these clear, blue sky days. a magical dolphin too?! what a blessed day!! xoox ♥
