Men in Tights.

This weekend, Wilson Park in downtown Florence was transformed into a medieval village, and all the eccentric souls descended upon the park in various states of adornment.

The three of us ventured through, as well, minus the crazy costumes.

We saw sword fighting knights, fire-breathing men, fairies, dragons, kings and queens.

Hudson got a little wooden sword, and loved tapping his toes to the medieval music.

Will ate a turkey leg. It was quite disgusting to me, but he seemed to enjoy it.

And I narrowly escaped a crazy, kissing pirate as he paraded through the square.

While this was an enjoyable festival, hopefully I won't find myself stuck in the Middle Ages (again) until at least this time next year.

This was a fun but weird medieval adventure. I felt almost like we were in the movie Role Models. I can say though the food was good. Maybe next year I can get Hudson a small Turkey leg. We can walk around like cavemen. As for that leather outfit you bought we do I get to see you in it.

LOVE YOU!!!

First of all, you look beautiful! I love that dress!

Second, how fun that they had a mini Ren Fest in your town! They have the Maryland one up here but it basically lasts all fall. I want to go to it this year but it's so expensive! I betcha Collin would eat a turkey leg like that too and yes, it is pretty disgusting.

Third, I love the new blog look. I think it's fun that you keep changing it to match your favorite outfits. =)

Alrighty, well, I hope you have a glorious Tuesday and I hope it's a beautiful fall day for you guys!

I think that gray is your color.

Also, I love your hair color. It makes me miss when my hair was this dark.

This looks so much fun and I want that turkey leg...but instead I should probably just eat breakfast.

cute new layout again, lady!!! I love all these photos. Turkey Legs are soooo good. I have had them at Renaissance faires where I live. I prefer the "Steak on a stake" though. hehehehe. Love all the photos again. seriously I looked at them three times. Aww little wooden sword. Kissing pirates would be a bit nasty.
