Oh, Great Pumpkin, where are you?

I have seriously been looking forward to our visit to the Pumpkin Patch for months. I think it's safe to say that Hudson has, too. This year's visit to McGee Farms was much different than last year....our little guy had so much fun!

--he loved "milking the cow" and asked to go back again and again.
--he wasn't so sure of the big pile of hay in the barn, but once he saw Daddy jumping around, he joined in on the fun. (He only got in a little bit of trouble when he threw huge handfuls of hay at another little boy.)
--he was so brave feeding the huge billy goat, and all the little baby goats. He thought those animals were really funny.
--the "wagonride" to the pumpkin patch was a really big deal for him. He loved sitting in the hay and bumping along down the dirt path.
--even though the pumpkin crop was less than extraordinary, Hudson was ecstatic. "Punkins!!!!"
--after I picked up a pretty orange pumpkin with a curly stem from the field, Hudson realized he could choose a pumpkin to take home, too. And out of all the pretty pumpkins out there, he chose a little green one. "Green Punkin!"
--we bumped back through the fields on the back of the tractor, and he would point at each pumpkin: "Mama's punkin. Daddy's punkin. Baby's Punkin."
--he  was dying to feed the chickens. As he sprinkled corn through the fence, he would say "here, chickens!"

This trip to the Pumpkin Patch was perfect....and just another reason I love Autumn so very much.

p.s. look how little Hudson was at the pumpkin patch last year....aww!

What sweet pictures. He has changed so much from last year, but still has that same look out of his eyes. I like the punkin Hudson picked, it's my favorite color - green.

That was me, Jamie and the boys in the black Tahoe that waved crazily at ya'll on Saturday! I guess ya'll had just left the pumpkin patch as we were on our way there. We could tell Will didn't recognize us... then again, the tint on my car windows is so dark, I don't ever think anyone can tell its me! I always tell Jamie I look like I'm apart of the Secret Service. :)

Year two at the good ole Mcgee Farms was a hit. Hudson had a blast and was into everything. Walking through all the pumpkins before I showed him how to milk them there cows. HAHA Then it was off to the pumpkin patch to pick out the best green pumpkin we could find. I must say though I enjoyed feeding the goats. Next year we will have to get Ashley to feed them to.

Great pictures Swoop and you looked beautiful. I liked your hair.

LOVE YOU!!!

Love it! These photos are great! And I do love how much bigger Hudson is this year than that last. Too sweet!

I think my favorite picture out of them all is Will holding all 3 of the pumpkins though. I just think it's a really sweet picture of Daddy/Hubby helping out his family. And I love that Hudson picked a green one. Too cute!

I cannot get over how gorgeous all of your photos are. You are so talented girl! And I love how you have the little braided hairstyle going on here.

Your little guy is just too cute. We took some friends and their two year old daughter to the pumpkin patch, I got out my camera and after about 5 shots discovered that I didn't have my memory card! I was bummed. :(

The pumpkin patch is always a fun experience in my opinion...no matter how old I get. :)
