I love these! It's like Jimmy Fallon. :) I think it's so funny when you get a comment and it's very clear that they didn't read one word. Haha! And um, would you check your target and see if there are any throws left? Jk. :) kind of... Hahaha!
Eep, I love that board of yours! And these notes are too lovely. :) Haha, sometimes it's too obvious that some clearly don't read a single thing that you write, but they just comment anyway for the sake of commenting... which is kind too? Hah.
I'm with you about the weather - it feels such much nice now! I love these thank you note ideas. So thank you for the inspiration! You're a very stylish mama!
Dear Hudson's Happenings Blog, Thank you for making me giggle in the middle of my work day. I always look forward to seeing all of Amanda's little children having fun in different exciting venues. It's so cool how you can find so many different places to go in your small Georgia town. Anywho, keep up the good work. lovelove - KatieBlogSkimmer
These are so stink'n cute! I especially love the fall weather thankfulness;) And the target one cracks me up--because I am totally not digging the design, but apparently the rest of the world is so it must mean something!
Hahah!! I love #3 :p And i can definitely relate to the second one. Half my wardrobe is from Target, and I was soo so so excited about the missoni collection :D Have a good day Ashley!
Very cute! Love the note cards, and love the one about the "skimmers"...it makes me laugh when people leave such comments that make make it blatantly obvious they didnt read a thing!
This really made me laugh!! I have to admit sometimes I do skim. BUT it's not because I don't love you! I also know that you have only one child and he is a boy! & he is adorable! haha. I hope you have a good weekend, i'm jealous that your target still had Missoni!!!
Dear Swoopie, Thank you so much for such a great blog with wonderful photography. I know that Hudson our SON which as far as I know is our only child can look back and enjoy this when he is older. I would also like to thank Target for somehow getting all of my money. Oh and how could I forget your beautiful ponytail that waves in the wind as you ride your bike that came from drum roll please Target. Last but not least thank you temperature for being so perfect these past few days so my family of three can get out and really enjoy the great outdoors. Love, Will
Thank you notes!!! :) They made me smile. I have been hearing a lot about Missoni at Target... I feel left out! I heart Target quite a bit too, it's just got everything I need. Except for groceries.
ALSO... thank you that I have now had that Moon Dance song stuck in my head ever since I read your last post!!!!!!! I only know like two lines from that song, they're on a loop in my brain!!
This weather is AWESOME! I came home to see the neighbors already put up their Halloween decorations. I think I might do that as well. :) Tell your pony tail to send some encouragements to my stub of a pony tail. I miss the chic look of it. And kiss your baby girl for me! Hah! :) JK
wow. people think you have more than one kid and that he is a girl? That's sad. I have had people think that I have one kid too. . .so they don't even notice that there is one with a different hairstyle who looks older and one with shorter hair who looks younger even . . .so I feel your pain about skimmers (I have people who don't even look at my pictures it seems then!)
This was a really cute post. I like that you actually wrote to your ponytail. hahahaha
i don't think i've ever seen anyone else create such a cute thank-you note assortment in life EVER! Ashley, this one's super genius and you holding that sign makes me want to mirror it right back to you too!!!
Ponytail lovin' is a daily thing for me lately, i really should blow it a kiss more often for keeping the tresses in tow : ) an autumn kick off at Target? you're SO lucky to have it close by! we have to drive for hours and hours to get to one and the prices just can't be beat. the blog skimmer letter is the BEST lades!!!! omg, i hear that. i actually think that someone who commented on the Redfish clothing post i did thought that i have kiddos myself. um, have you even checked out my about page or what? bahaha! ah well, it happens but those write and dashers are few and far between plus we've got SO many other grand folks stopping by who really care about the content of our lives. you handled that really, really well! kudos and high fives!! next up is a thank you to those lovely lashes of yours and perhaps a collaboration to make some miracle serum for us sparse crop sorts too ; )
the comments from your last visit kept coming and my smile kept growing each time i read the sweetest and always the kindest words from you, thank you!!! xoox ♥
oh gosh, as i was scrolling back up i saw Will's note to "swoopie"!!!!!!!!!! my heart just twinged and a tear came on fast, that was SO sweet of him! what a tremendous guy you've got, the love you share together beams brightest and i adore how he steps in like that sometimes. xo ♥
Haha love these notes, especially to the blog skimmers. ;)
I went to my Target at 8am and they had all the Missoni clothes, but I ended up not getting any. I did manage to get nesting bowls and a candle there, and then my fiance went to his Target and got us the bath mat and a cute canister.
Haha how could they not know about Hudson? Your entire blog is named after him hehe! I just spent tons of money at target yesterday on sweaters and thermals. Bring it fall.
love these thank you's! :) and I happened to see what Gentri said in her comment...i love Jimmy Fallon's thank you letters, and yours are just as wonderfully witty and make me smile!
Yay for Target! (even though I haven't been in waaaaay too long...i need to change that soon:)
And ponytails and buns are my best friends. lifesavers for us long-haired mommy folk :)
I'll get a few "skimmers" every now and then too...and you're so right, it's sweet they leave comments :) but what in the world!? Ash, you're a supermom and could totally be raising multiple kiddos :) but your pictures and words have never even hinted to you having more than one right now. And Hudson is ALL BOY :) Honestly, Brooks gets "what a beautiful girl!" or "what's her name?" comments just as much as "he's a cutie!" or "what's his name?" *sigh* But hey, I think it's just because both of our boys have long lashes and curly hair...which i absolutely adore :)
PS - those comments about brooks are from people at the grocery store and restaurants...which makes it awesomely awkward for them when I make the correction that we have a SON :) lol
I love this. I can't write a thank you note to the weather yet (it's still in the 80s) but maybe in October I can send Mother Nature a little note of appreciation. :)
Oh my gosh! Your pony tail thank you and 'people who skim your blog' thank you cracked me up. It is pretty annoying when people clearly didn't read a word that you wrote.... but did manage to leave a comment. (: And Ooohh do I wish the temperature in Florida would drop! I'm ready for fall.
this post made me laugh! so glad you got to go to target and get some things from the new line, by the time i got there all the good stuff was gone :( i am stoked for fall. let the leaves turn red!!!
Ha ha yeah sometimes comments can be a little transparent, when I wrote that I was in Sweden visiting my family one comment was like: "Hope you enjoy your time in Paris" ??? :D
I'm so jealous that you managed to get your hands on some Missoni stuff, I really wanted one of the dresses, but didn't have a chance since I don't even live in the States!
This is the cutest idea and such a thoughtful way to say thank you! Love the stationary. I'm so glad I came across your blog, it has such a wonderful design.
hahahahaha! did someone comment on your offspring being a girl? and did they make him/her plural? Ha! That's pretty funny. Don't you love those comments? It's like they comment just so you will hopefully go to their page and comment but you won't cause obviously they didn't even read your post!
ok and the letter to ponytail...hilarious! Target too, although will you hate me if I say I do NOT like the missoni stuff? However I bet you will rock it like it's hot and make it look fab and totally change my mind.
and I'm glad Father of One knows that his one and only child is in fact a BOY. Also, how sweet that he loves your ponytail. My husband hates mine. Isn't that just SO rude?
haha, love this! very sweet and clever. i'm jealous that your Target had so much Missoni! i got lucky and my mom bought me some stuff and i did manage to order some stuff online (although i won't get it until next month - boohoo). i'm laughing about the people who don't read your blog but comment on your multiple kids, including a girl :) very funny. one time a woman commented on mine. i was doing "tummy hiding" clothes. she told me i had the cutest baby bump. i laughed so hard because i actually was trying to hide the POST baby fat and she must've not read that.
Such a cute idea Ashley! Coming by your blog is always so positive and uplifting (of course that's because I read the texts, although your beauty and Hudson's cuteness alone would make me smile too).
I would be so thankful too if there was a Target at all in my country (I'm hearing it's coming soon), if only so that I could have some cool designs made my artists I admire.

these are very creative and fun! And i love Katiewake's thank you letter you HHB! too cute!
Such a cute idea! I laughed at the blogger who thinks you have more then one kid and thinks you have a girl! Oh, well! Lol!
I love this! I miss being able to wear a pony tail... The only drawback to cutting my hair short. =(
I absolutely love your thank you note to the blogger that leaves a comment but doesn't actually read you're blog. haha too funny!!
This weather is amazing. What's the temperature like down there today? It's only gotten up to 65 today! It's wonderful!!

LOVE YOU!!!
Laughed out loud at note number three! Such a cute post format! Totally with you on the ponytail, cooler temps, and Fall wardrobe!!
These are adorable!

LOL love this post because my Man Candy Monday is Jimmy Fallon and this totally reminds me of his thank you cards!
First off, is that your handwriting on text? Because it's beautiful lol :)
Secondly, how could anyone mistake Hudson for a girl? He's a handsome little man!! Some people...
Gasp! I can't believe someone thought Hudson was a girl.. What in the world????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And please sign my name all over that last note to Temperature.. I'm craving a case of the cools over here...
♥Janette, the Jongleur
Hahah... you are too adorable!
Oh my gosh, I love your handwriting! but did someone call Hudson a girl? Let me at em....;-)

I would be so thankful too if there was a Target at all in my country (I'm hearing it's coming soon), if only so that I could have some cool designs made my artists I admire.
You are so lovely my dear :)

Did you do that chalkboard sign yourself???? If so, I NEED to learn how :)
Gorgeous stationary! I love all the patterned goodness surrounding your blog, amazing.
x The Pretty Secrets
Oh my gosh! Don't you love those comments that are SO obvious they didn't read! Pathetic! ANd Hudson is the cutest BOY ever!!!!
Hudson is so adorable so I understand why they would mix him up with a girl ;){i'm kidding, but he is adorable!}
pumpkin spice candles spell sooo good ... i am so tempted to leave them out year round now.
i am going to tell hubby that you wrote a thank you card to Target ... he would appreciate that, hehe.
