East Nashville Eats.

One of my favorite things is exploring. Being anonymous in a city that's not my own. Taking in the sights. Visiting the places that are off the beaten path. Eating alongside the locals at delicious, hidden gems. Enjoying a change of scenery.

Will and I have been exploring together since we met. Trying new things. Finding new favorites. And our little Hudson fits right in. He's got adventurous blood running through his veins. He loves to explore, too.

Nashville is one of my favorite cities on earth. There's no shortage of amazing places to see. Yesterday we found ourselves in quaint East Nashville, coined by Budget Travel Magazine as Nashville's version of NYC's East Village. It's historic and hip...a perfect place for us to enjoy.

We ate at the lovely Mitchell Delicatessan. I enjoyed the most heavenly Turkey, Apple, & Brie Sandwich. Hudson sat right between Will & I, at the high-top table, munching on turkey, cheese and pickles.

Then, we stopped into Mike's Ice Cream and Coffee Bar, where we piled into the old church pew seating and ate sweets until we were full and very happy. Butter Pecan for me, Mint Chocolate Chip for Will, and a delicious cream cheese danish for the little guy.

I heart Nashville.

Well that is one of many things that I love about you. You are not afraid to get off the beaten path and try new things. Hudson does fit right in there with his little adventuresome self. You found us two great little eating joints. All of the food was great!

What a perfectly perfect day! The mister and I love going on adventures to new places too! We actually just moved to a new town and it's been so much fun going to new grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.!

That sandwich you ordered sounds absolutely amazing! Brie is the best cheese ever! I want some right this minute!

Oh and the picture of you and Hudson in front of the blue wall is gorgeous! It's my favorite picture from this entire post!
