Welcome to Small Town USA.

We drove over to our neighboring small town of Killen to enjoy their Founder's Day festivities.

We saw a cute parade with furry mascots and peewee football players, John Deere tractors and horses with buggies, a rolling tribute to Muscle Shoals music and a pink cadillac with a fake Elvis in the front seat.

It was fun. And it was as American as apple pie. I love a parade.

Fun! I haven't been to a parade in so long...a town near me usually has a Christmas one that I used to participate in (with goats! So much fun!).

You look beautiful!

Aww looks like fun! I love that pink car. My town does something like this during winter every year (I was actually in it once too), I definitely want to go to the next one.

I love parades, too! They are so much fun. That pink car is great. We have a little Barbie pink Miata that drives around town. It always makes me smile.

On a different note, where did you get your dress/wear can I buy the exact same one? I LOVE IT!! And I'm serious. I want to know. =)

Looks like a fun day. Is Hudson smiling at the "gurls"? I love parades, those majorettes bring back good memories of all the parades you were in. You and Pam look so cute and Hudson and Easton are two sweet boys. Hudson always has to catch a little nap before the festivities begin!

your sleeping hudson is about the cutest thing. ever.
Glad you had such a fun time soaking in the goodness of your wonderful small town parade :) I have such fond memories of our Hazel Dell Parade growing up. And can I just say you'd look gooooooood in that pink cadi! :)

PS - did i spy a Brooks Junior High or High School?? how fun is that? :)

Well I was not really sure what to expect from Killen's parade. I am glad we went though. Hudson woke up just in time to check out the Brooks majorettes and cheerleaders. Fun afternoon with friends followed with great food.
Great pictures and you look beautiful as always!

LOVE YOU!!!

YOU are gorgeous, Hudson is growing up way too fast, and you know it's small town USA when the baton team is gorgeous. That doesn't happen everywhere!

Why are you always at places with parades?? And by "always", I think you've done two posts, lol!! But I only say that because I'm so jealous, I want to live in towns that have parades!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Them some hot cheerleaders :)

small town USA...that would also be where yours truly lives. More like po-dunk town USA. With lots and lots of dust and snakes. And tumbleweeds. At least we have a starbucks?

GORGEOUS pictures. I LOVE how you and hubs take Hudson to do so many things. Can I just ask? WHEN IS BABY #2 coming??

Mayor of small town USA: hahahahah!! OF COURSE Hudson woke up in time for the cheerleaders! He is a male :)
