Street Struttin'

{LISTEN: When the Saints Go Marching In by Dukes of Dixieland}
-------------------------------------------------
The W.C Handy Festival was coming to a close, so despite the hot and humid morning air, we strolled down Court Street and found a spot in the grass....watching for the ever-entertaining Handy Fest Street Strut.
We sweated our little tails off, but we heard some awesome jazz music and saw a great big smile on Hudson's face as the tooting trumpets trailed by. We were entertained by the dancers, the baton twirlers, and those struttin' folks who wore very funky hats and carried pretty parasols. Oh, and there were beads....that we all wore proudly.
All or nothing, folks.

It looks like you guys had lots of fun. I wish we had something like that here. Although I'm going to my local farmers market this weekend, so that's a fun local thing to go to.

I love the picture of Hudson's feet and the beads. There have been some good events during Handy Fest and this one looks like so much fun. You look gorgeous in that red dress with the hat. Love it.

What were you doing to get all pf those beads? HAHA Handy Week was fun. You look great in that red dress but what were you doing to get all of those beads thrown our way? Hudson really enjoyed watching Johnson's band go marching by.

LOVE YOU!!!

I love looking at little kids' feet! They are so unique and different and filled with personality. It is a shame to think that one day our little boys feet will be all big and hairy hahaha.
