I Love America.

The bright green ocean kissed the pretty blue sky. Vivid umbrellas dotted the shoreline. American flags waved proudly from makeshift monuments in the sand. It was another perfect day at the beach. & It was the 4th of July.

We spent the day in the sun, and the evening on the docks...eating delicious crab cakes from the deck of Tacky Jack's grill. Patriotic pleasantries were all around, from the glittering streamers that hung from the wooden banisters to the tiny Old Glory that was tucked into the condiment stand on our hightop table.

That night we had a bird's eye view of the fireworks from our 15th floor balcony. Hudson loved the bright colors and loud boom, and smiled as the light show exploded in the sky leaving trails of smoke and glitter behind.

It was a beautiful day in a beautiful spot in our beautiful country.

God Bless America.
