Summertime Philosophy.

{LISTEN: In the Summertime by Mungo Jerry}

Summertime means parades and festivals and fun and frolicking through downtown in sundresses and sandals.

Summertime means smiling and eating on open air patios and soaking up the last drops of sun before watching the pretty pink sunset.

Summertime means laughing and shopping and dancing to the sounds of loud, live music in the glittering moonlight.

Summertime means love.

Won't you stick around summertime? We're loving you extra lots this year.

This was a fun Thursday night out on the town. I can't believe our little guy slept through the parade and half of dinner. I enjoyed the music on the main street. Hudson was about ready to get out and cut a rug I do believe. Great pictures of a great night. Nice song choice by the way.

LOVE YOU!!!

Gorgeous girl! Precious baby feet, and lovely photos. I do love summertime, as well. It's especially wondrous when the babies are small and so wide-eyed at everything.

Do you ever not look amazing? Doubt it. And Hudson is just as cute in the sleeping pics as in the awake ones- so adorable!

I'm pretty sure that you and I have the same philosophy on summertime. If only we lived in the same town, IF ONLY!!

And H's lips in that picture of him asleep, those perfect bow shaped lips! So kissable! don't worry, I wasn't coming at that as a older woman ped perspective, only as a mom who wants to munch those lips up!

Love that a man around town said that Hudson was about ready to get up and cut a rug. And I totally agree, nice song choice :)

a helen keller festival sounds like it would be enjoyable. were there a lot of people with loss of senses there? I was partially deaf when I was a child so I could hardly hear and i spoke awfully (Jesus healed my ears in a dream, I was completely better when I woke up) so I really admire when people are able to live without a sense or two, especially what Helen Keller had to deal with. how hard that sounds!!!!!

Beautiful photos of your evening in downtown Tuscumbia!! I love the one of you against the brick wall. Little guy got him in a nap. Glad his boo-boo is all well. I always like the pictures of the three of you. Sweet and cute family.

YES Ashley :) summer time means all those things!!! loved the details you so eloquently shared :) Reminds me we need to find another restaurant/cafe to enjoy dinners outside in an open air patio...our favorite just closed down :( But I guess that means we'll have to try a few restaurants until we find a keeper, and I'm all up for that ;)

Looks like you had a great time at the Helen Keller Festival!
