Shindig No. 3

{LISTEN: Forever Young by Youth Group}

Billy Reid and The Oxford American put together a magical night of music, art and Southern culture in downtown Florence.
 The evening was full of pretty little moments that I want to store away and remember forever...rocking out to the Romany Rye, Hudson enjoying his first comic book courtesy of Batman and Spidey, watching as the enchanted bubble shapes floated high above in the dusk colored sky, a spicy Mexican feast with friends, browsing local arts, and tracking down Aladdin (my favorite Disney "prince?") for a photo op with the girls.

I'm pretty sure that I've fallen in love with summertime in Alabama.

I always enjoy our family First Friday outings. Whats better than being with your family accompanied with some good food, drinks and some great live music. Hudson was really digging the band and watching everyone do a little dance. I can't wait for the next First Friday. Maybe next time I want be the only dude there other than the two little dudes but you know as long as Hudson is with me I am happy.

LOVE YOU!!!

I'm sure I've said this too many times to count (or at least I've thought it when reading your posts)...you have a way of writing and taking photos that truly captures your adventures and brings your readers with you!! :) What a fun night you had! i love that it was called "The Shindig" :)

and I love Aladdin too!! random...for Halloween your sweetheart would make a stellar Aladdin, you'd be a perfect Jasmine, and your sweet Hudson could be Abu! :) :) :)

well, well, well...shin to the diggety DIG! look at those babies and their beautiful momma's, no doubt Aladdin was stopped in his tracks. you all are gorgeous-ness. much better than any pesky ol' lamp or carpet ride ; )

this whole thing looks like a gas, Sean's younger bro would have been in his glory with all the comic book influence. he's totally 29 but has the heart of a kiddo. actually i would have been gloried out too, your photos always convey the sheer joy you all must have been feeling so well. ♥

pea ess: thank you doesn't cover the way i want to reach out to you and hug tight. your message about being worried for me was just very touching. you're really such a great friend! xo
