We are the Easter people, and Hallelujah is our song.

I don't think I stopped smiling once all weekend. Thanks to the abundant happiness surrounding me this Easter, I find my cheek muscles sore. It's a possibility I even sprouted a couple of extra laugh lines.

Things that made my weekend wonderful?
- Waking up to Hudson talking over the monitor, about "a egg!", as he spied his special delivery that the Easter Bunny had dropped off in his room overnight.
- Strolling through the beautiful church garden after a wonderful Easter morning service.
- Seeing Hudson and his sweet cousin Henrietta enjoy surprises and lunch with Will's parents.
- Having an impromptu backyard egg hunt at our house while enjoying a visit from my Mom & Dad.
-Teaching Hudson about the real reason we celebrate Easter through books and bible verses.

I am so thankful that I am able to enjoy the beauty of this Easter with my loving family. I hope you all remembered to celebrate Easter's true meaning. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."(John 14:6) He should know...he paid the ultimate price for us and lived to tell of it. As for me, all of my Easter eggs are in that basket.

Hudson is always so adorable! I can't imagine how sweet it was to hear him talking about his easter egg over the baby monitor! I swoon from the cuteness!!

Oh Ashley, it sounds and looks like the perfect Easter! I have been telling everybody that we should not forget what Easter is all about and pretty all I got was blank stares all week-end, which only reinforced my own faith. In a Canadian world where the churches are now empty, I am happy to have cyber friends that share my values.

Hudson and Henrietta kissing just totally made my day!

You family is so inspiring :)

This was a truly blessed day. The sound of Hudson's voice saying egg. He was so surprised and happy. Us looking through the church bulletin to make sure our little guys Easter Lilly was there. Our walk through the beautiful church garden for a few family pictures. A fun lunch with family and how much fun Hudson and Henri always seem to have together. Roro giving Hudson such a big hug. Your parents coming over to our home for a fantastic afternoon. Egg hunting in the backyard and then off to see Leo and Una. It was fun just spending the late afternoon walking around UNA.

LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR A BLESSED EASTER!

Oh my goodness, Hudson's Easter outfit is so adorable! Enjoy it, I'm sure he'll be rebelling against these cutesy outfits in what feels like no time at all! So glad to hear you had a lovely Easter with the family. Now, do you mind asking Hudson if he wants to share his Easter candy with me - I didn't get any, but even as a grown up I'm jealous of his Easter basket!

And how wonderful that you're teaching him, so young, the true meaning of Easter...teaching him of his Savior. You are a beautiful mother Ashley :)

CUTE OVERLOAD DOT COM!

Also.

I almost just had a heart attack because I thought, in the 7th picture, that your husband was sitting on the toilet... I was like whhhhaaaa?!? Then I was like ohhhh, never mind. Then I was like bahahaha (just imagining if it really had been a picture of him on the john all sneaky-like).

Ok. I'll stop now.

woah that's a lot of stuff in that basket. All I did was had Leto choose his candy which was a chocolate egg for each of the boys with a little toy inside the egg, jellybeans, and little chocolate three musketeer bars (which I ate most of them haha). . and they shared a basket. They were cool with that though. They didn't even eat the eggs we dyed. :(
Love all the cute family shots!!!!
