Typical Friday Night

{LISTEN: Babylon by David Gray}

Hudson loves to help me get ready....I passed on the polka dot headband, though.
We braved the leftover snow. How nice it felt to be out & about.
Thanks to the chilly weather, it was uncharacteristically easy to get a table at our favorite Italian restaurant.
Hudson enjoys mashed potatoes & the paper bag full of fresh warm bread...I enjoy the grilled chicken with goat cheese & veggies....Will enjoys pork chops and making funny faces.
We braved the cold for a little taste of Italy in downtown Florence.
Afterwards we made our way to Target, to do a little late night shopping.
It was really lovely.
It was a typical Friday night.

Lately, the simplest things are filling me to the brim with happiness.
I like feeling this way.

It's so true that the little things in life can often make you feel the best. I love them too.

You look great in the shorts & tights. And your hair looks gorgeous, as always.

It is all about the simple things. My kids really help me remember that a lot of times the fancy things really aren't as great as the simple things like hide and seek, reading, and just being together. And it seems that the simple moments fill me up faster and longer with true happiness.

P.S. Your little man is the cutest!
