Forever Young

{LISTEN: Vienna by Billy Joel}

Sometimes it's important to slow down, and drink life in with big, huge, happy gulps....to gather with your family, both immediate and extended, and enjoy a meal that's chock full of comfort food and laughter.

Sometimes it's important to get comfortable in a creaky, wooden rocking chair and play a game of checkers with your favorite cousin.

Sometimes it's important to see the world through the eye's of a child, dancing along to a singing Valentine's dog in the middle of a crowded country store.

 Sometimes it's important to take a leisurely drive to nowhere, all the while singing loudly and out of tune to Billy Joel's greatest hits and keeping your eyes peeled for roadside excitement...then stopping to browse the likes of antique Jeepsters, life-size Shrek and Donkey, and a flock of flying pigs.

Sometimes it's important to have a picture perfect day.....the kind that lasts an entire lifetime.

Laughter. Love. Family. Fun.

Did you get the picture yet?
I'm painting you a portrait of YOUNG.

{May God bless and keep you always.
May your wishes all come true.
May you always do for others, and let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars, and climb on every rung.
May you stay forever young.
-Bob Dylan}

This was a fun little get out of the house and see the family. Everyone getting together at the spur of the moment and having a great time. Then on the way back stoping at anything we thought looked neat. GOOD FUN TIMES.

LOVE YOU

That sounds like a wonderful day! Yet again, any day eating at Cracker Barrel is wonderful! The closest one to us is an hour and a half to two hours away! We did just eat at one last weekend on the way home from PA though!

I pretty much just smiled bigger than I have all day...

Cracker Barrel and I have a sordid past. That high chair your precious little one is in? My dad {on accident of course} crushed my little fingers EVERY TIME I sat in one of those chairs.

Hilariousssssssssssss.

Anywho, I obviously loved this post!
