Now all I need is some blue eyeshadow.

Cowabunga. Today's outfit is feelin' pretty rad. Like, totally tubular.
And, if you haven't already picked up on my slang terms, this outfit is feelin' very '80's.

I sometimes like to wear my sweatshirts off the shoulder, Flashdance style. Who am I kidding, I like to wear my sweatshirts like that a lot. Makes me feel cool. And when I'm cleaning, or folding laundry while wearing a relaxed silhouette of soft, neutral fabric...I've been know to kick it into high gear and dance my little heart out while singing "What a feeling!" "Now, I'm dancin' for my life!" I try to only do this when no one's around.

Remember the '80's when you woke up every Saturday morning to watch Pee Wee's Playhouse? You knew all the words to Thriller, and the dance moves, too. You may or may not have teased your bangs. It was definitely one of my favorite decades. Not only because of the funky fashions, but also because of the music and movies...oh, the movies. I could list a million that I love. But, I won't do that, because you'd probably get bored and click right off my blog. But I will share a few of my all time faves: Dirty Dancing, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Great Outdoors, and Funny Farm.
Best. Movies. Ever.

So tell me, friends....what is your favorite thing about the '80's?

I was born mid 80's, I do like the whole off the shoulder thing but that's about the ONLY thing I like from the 80's. We could totally do without the 80's and 90's! Lol!

Totally adore your jumper and headband! I adore all the wonderful 80's movies and watching Molly Ringwald parade around in fabulous garb! Good luck on your challenge!

Oh, you totally rock the off-the-shoulder sweatshirt look! And the side braid! Cuteness!

PS: I was 2 months short from being born in the 80's. Biggest deception of my life! Ha. I do love all thing 80's though!

Ok. NO where has YOUR blog been all my life???? I am glad you found me, so that I could find YOU! hah. We sound like we found true love or something.

I love the "flash dance" style of wearing your sweaters! I have always wanted to try that look, and will walk out the door sporting it, but then once I get someplace where someone will see me I pull my collar up. Ugh. Ok, call me a chicken. Just do it. Ep! You look so cute, I may just have to try it again.

I totally love the sweatshirt! Totally rad!

I have so many thoughts of nostalgia for things from the 80s! From My Little Ponies, Strawberry Shortcake and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the movies (which I watched when I was much older) Footloose and the Breakfast Club!

omg those sequins are to die for! The perfect modernization of 80s style (the hipster neon, not so much, but I love your interpretation) :)

You are so dang cute!

I used to rock stirrup pants! Loved those things. Oh, and body suits. That would be a sight if I decided to try and wear a bodysuit again!

So I was born in 88, so I barely got to experience the 80s. Still, I had an older sister, so I got to play with some of her 80s toys!

First off, you look tubular indeed. Secondly, my favorite thing about the eighties has got to be the music! Loads of one hit wonders with sad lyrics and dancey beats - a great contradiction.
