It's all Downhill from Here.

I won't lie. I'm quickly becoming tired of the 30 for 30 challenge. The last half has been much harder....not feeling as inspired to create daily fashionable masterpieces, paired with the sudden drop in temperatures outside has been a recipe for disaster in the challenge (for me, at least.) I seriously applaud my blogger friends to the North who've been stylin' in the snow, sleet, and rain. Maybe this Southern girl is just being dramatic...but it's hard to take a cute outfit pic when you are freezing!

But I'm no quitter. I am going to stick it out through the rest of this challenge (only 9 days left!!), and I'm going to try to have a positive attitude about it. Even on the coldest day, when all I want to do is stay tucked inside wearing my most comfortable pajamas.

Is anyone else feeling uninspired?

I actually feel like I'm a little more creative the second half than I was the first half. Well, more creative for me, anyway :) but I am ready for it to be over.

I agree that it's getting more challenging. And 10 inches of snow isn't helping the photography situation - I miss my daily backdrop search. But I think there's still some good outfits waiting to be unleashed.

BTW, I love how your stripes in your scarf pick up the stripes on your top.

Don't tell anyone, but I'm dying to wear some of my other clothes...I just want the rest of my closet back. Sooob. But enough Debbie Downer, I love this outfit! I'm coveting all your fabulous accessories. I think I only have five more outfits to go? Six possibly.

Hang in there, Ashley! I think you're doing great for the second half.

I know what you mean about feeling a little bored with the 30 pieces though. I feel like the rest of my closet hates me for ignoring it. haha (yes, sometimes I think my clothes have feelings too...)

This is a daily battle for me. Some days are better than others, but I think that's mostly because I want to push myself. My first 15 outfits were fairly predictable - but these last 15 have really pushed me to try new things and think outside of the box. Somedays I love that feeling, other days {today} it's a pain.

That scarf is a beautiful color for you. I love the piece of art as your backdrop. I think you always look cute. Where is the little guy?

Well this outfit still manages to look fresh and new even with your lack of inspiration!
I'm still slightly inspired...but I think things are slowly dwindling...I think the biggest thing is I'm going the 30 all in a row, and before I used to take a couple days off a week from outfit posts...I just need a minor blogcation!

agreed. it's been quite a bit more challenging since i hit #15... but we are one the downhill slope and it will shortly be over! and we will get to say WE DID IT! and it's something to be proud of because, unless you are actually doing it, you don't really know how hard it can get. just a few more days!! (:

I was feeling down so I cheated and added two pieces of color. There are also two pieces I couldn't make work. So I will call it a wash. Ha! I am such a cheater. Anyway, you look great! Cheers to almost being done!

I am with you. I feel like I should be FAR done by now. But there are still 10 outfits to create. Ugh. Never again. At least not for a very long time.

I've seen a lot of bloggers blog about the same thing and I don't blame you 30 days is a long time and you are all doing so great! YOU CAN DO IT!

Oh, girl, I hear ya! I am just now starting to have a hard time... The cold is def not helping me whatsoever. I think next week I am going to plan ALL of my outfits ahead of time on the weekend - maybe that will help give me the time to have more inspiration.

Regardless, I love this outfit and you look great! It's hard to tell you are feeling a lack of inspiration! I'm wearing my stripe shirt today too. :)

I'll admit, after I gloated about how I have 20 more outfit ideas in my head, I quickly began to wonder how I could start mixing in the rest of my closet with my 30 for 30 items. I also keep having all these weird issues, like I busted the seam on my pencil skirt and ripped my favorite skinny jeans, so that left me a little uninspired. Do I sub in a different skirt and jeans until the end or make do without? :( I still have a bunch of ideas, but I'm getting the point where I want to mix in some more items and start recreating some of the awesome looks the rest of the remixers have worn the past three weeks. :)

Either way, you look gorgeous as ever. I love the striped and the bright scarf, and I'm glad I'm not the only one still sporting flared jeans. These jeans look amazing on you! :)

I totally feel you. I was doing so awesome and then I went home for Thanksgiving and got stuck in the traveling/post traveling laziness and now I'm lacking inspiration!

On the bright side, you outfits totally haven't suffered--super cute and fun as always!

I was feeling a bit "bleh" about the challenge 3 days ago. And then I put all the pics together of what I've worn so far and it was a good motivator.

Your remixes have been wonderful! All of them :) Really! So keep going, you'll find your second remix breath! xx

I agree. 100%

I'm getting ready to throw in the towel... :/
I just want to wear my clothes again. And the temperatures don't help. Maybe, I'll give it another go come springtime...

You're so close to the end! Can't wait to see your last few looks.
