Cotton-Headed Ninny Muggins.

I have been such a little elf today. I've buzzed around the house, wrapping gifts and packaging sweet treats. I've shuffled through our local craft store, picking up last minute decorations and Christmas goodies. I seriously love this time of year. If I could listen to holiday music, 365 days out of the year, I totally would. I mean, I know I "could"....but aside from driving my family crazy, people would probably try to commit me to the looney bin for overdoing the Fa-la-la-la-la's.

After looking at these pictures, I decided that not only did I feel like an elf today, I was also dressed like one. Floppy pom-pom boggin? Check. Bright funky sweater? Check. Elf-like booties? Check. Big smile while spreading cheer by singing loudly for all to hear? Check and Check.

Remember yesterday when I told you I had been baking up a storm? Well, if you were wondering here is what I made...

Yum Yum Yummy. It all turned out delicious, y'all.

And remember how I said it wasn't so easy to be a domestic goddess? Look what was happening while I created these Christmas confections....

Big messes, and a few tears. Hey, Hudson...where's your Christmas cheer?

Don't worry! He found his Christmas spirit, again. Right after we shared a cookie.

What's your favorite part of the holiday season?

Oh my gosh, you're adorable! Such cheer in these photos.

My favorite part is when things wind down a bit and you can spend a few quiet days at home, you know?

Well let me just tell you that you looked great yesterday. I was happy to sample each treat once or maybe twice as you took a box to our neighbors. It also looked although Hudson picked up after himself before I got home from work.

LOVE YOU and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
