Hudson and I spent a few days last week with my parents while Will was in Montgomery. He was attending a conference in our state capitol for the Leadership Alabama Initiative. Each fall, fifty to sixty accomplished leaders from around the state are selected to participate in Leadership Alabama. It was such an honor for Will to be chosen, as the small number of participants are selected based on their leadership abilities, career accomplishments, volunteer activities, contributions to the community, and commitment to help shape a better Alabama. He enjoyed his time there, and enjoyed meeting lots of other business leaders in our great state who share his concern about the future of Alabama and a personal commitment to help shape that future. We were truly proud that Will got to share in this unique experience, but we were also very happy to have him home. On Friday night we left Hudson with Gennie & Grand-Dad and reveled in a night out.
